Company History

Comet Aerospace, Inc. (CAS) is a FAA approved repair station with a limited airframe rating. CAS is also a full service consulting company providing a wide range of quality, time sensitive advisory and technical services to airlines, industry suppliers, maintenance providers, and aircraft lessors. CAS is a privately owned, independent corporation established in 2002 and is based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida just north of the airport.

The founding objective of CAS is to consistently provide superior, reliable, safe aircraft and aircraft components.

Management
Patrick House is the President and Accountable Manager for Comet Aerospace. Patrick began his career in the U.S. Army Infantry Division as a Second Lieutenant. His first civilian job was with Eastern Airlines in Miami where he worked as an engineer to support modifications during the airline’s struggle to survive. He then went on to work for Lockheed Space Operations Company at Cape Canaveral, Florida as a Shuttle Payloads Satellite Engineer. His responsibilities included shuttle configuration for the payloads and installation of satellites. After Lockheed Patrick went on to establish Liberty Line Engineering where he worked as an engineering consultant performing on site engineering for various airlines in support of major repairs and modifications. Patrick House currently holds a BS degree in Aeronautical Engineering and brings with him 18 years of aviation experience.
